01 · Scope of work

We perform technology repair, setup, and tutoring services as described on this site or in the written quote we send you. We will not exceed the scope of an approved quote without written confirmation.

02 · Free quote, no fix, no fee

Diagnostics and quotes are free. If we cannot complete the repair you approved, you do not pay.

If a repair is approved but a different underlying issue is discovered mid-job, we stop and re-quote before continuing.

03 · Pricing

Flat-rate services are listed on our pricing page. Hourly services bill in 15-minute increments after the first full hour.

Parts are billed at our cost plus 0% markup unless the part is sourced through a warranty-only supplier.

04 · Warranty

Our labor is warrantied for 30 days. Parts carry the manufacturer warranty. We will redo a covered repair at no cost if the issue recurs in the warranty window.

05 · Data & devices

You are responsible for backing up your data before service whenever possible. We can perform a backup as part of the job for an additional charge.

We are not liable for pre-existing hardware failures discovered during service, or for data loss caused by underlying hardware failure outside our control.

06 · Cancellations & no-shows

Cancel any time before a scheduled visit at no charge. No-shows after a confirmed mobile appointment may be billed the trip charge.

07 · Limitation of liability

TechFix Local LLC's liability for any single job is limited to the amount paid for that job. We do not provide consequential damages coverage.
