What we collect. And what we don't.

A short, plain-English privacy policy. We don't have lawyers writing 4,000-word disclaimers because we don't do anything that needs hiding.

01 · What we collect

When you contact us through the website, we collect the name, phone, and email you provide, plus the description you write so we can prepare a quote.

When you drop off a device, we record device make, model, serial number (when visible), and a short intake note about the issue.

02 · What we do with your data

We use your contact information to respond to your request, schedule the work, and follow up after a job is done. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone, ever.

Device intake notes are stored on our local workshop machines for record-keeping and warranty purposes.

03 · Files on your devices

We do not browse your personal files, photos, messages, or browser history beyond what is required to diagnose and complete the repair.

For workshop drop-offs we ask you to set up a temporary login so we never need your primary password. If you want us to wipe a device, we use a verified secure-erase procedure and provide written confirmation.

04 · Cookies & analytics

This website uses minimal first-party analytics to understand which pages are visited. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. You can disable cookies in your browser without affecting site functionality.

05 · Retention

Quote requests and customer records are retained for two years for warranty purposes, then deleted. You can ask us to delete your record sooner by emailing hello@techfixlocal.com.
